Trick or Treat: Halloween Tradition

Every 31st of October, some are celebrating or having a Halloween Party in their houses, offices, schools and community.. They are dressed with different costumes and makeups. Scary characters like monsters, vampires and zombies, even fairy and pirates, others in their cute Cosplay costume. Whatever beyond their imagination and creativity. As long as they look scary. And also 31st of October is Trick-or-treat time for Children..Trick or Treat has been a tradition in the United States, same here in the Philippines. All children are dressed-up on their favorite, cute or scary costume going to different houses screaming the word "trick or treat!" then wait for their candies or goodies to be placed on their Pumpkin Bag.



Here in the Philippines, children also do trick or treat not only to different houses, but also to various boutiques in shopping malls Like SM Malls around the metro and even in some provinces. Mostly, shops are participating on that event. So every 31st of October, at the time that the Shopping Malls are open, children gathered at the Event Center, registered and Start their Trick or treat around the mall to get some goodies. My kids are excited to have candies and goodies. Just like many others, I made an effort to dress them up just to have fun while collecting candies and goodies at the mall and even to other houses.

1. WASH DAILY- It is important to wash face daily. It helps in maintaining the good condition of skin.
2. USE MOISTURIZER - Using a moisturizer is necessary if you want to have a smooth face. It helps in making the skin moist.
3. STEAMING- Steaming the face helps in cleaning it. It makes the face soft. Fill a vessel with boiling water
4. LEMON JUICE-Lemon juice is a natural remedy for many types of skin problems like dark skin and scars.
5. YOGURT-Natural products help in getting smooth face. Greek yogurt is the best remedy for beautiful and glowing skin. Apply yogurt on face for twenty minutes. Wait until it becomes dry. Wash the face using lukewarm water. This remedy will help in moisturizing the skin while removing dead cells.

Origami

From the word "ORI" meaning folding, and from "KAMI" meaning paper.. It is the art of folding paper which is often associated with Japanese culture.. In modern world We use to call it Origami. The goal is to transform the square sheets of paper into a finished sculpture through folding. Folding can be combined in varieties of design.There are 6 types of Folding1. Action Origami 2. Modular Origami 3. Wet-folding 4. Pureland origami 5. Origami Tessellation and 6. KirigamiIn our geberation today, we can use any paper as long it is flat and easy to fold.. Like for an example is a tissue paper, pad paper, bondpaper, aluminium foil and even paper money.... and it is called Orikane or Money Origami..The paper that should be used is called Origami paper.. You can purchase it at any Bookstore.. Origami paper is often referred to as "Kami" or Japanese Paper.. Most of the time I use 9x9 size of paper or 6x6.. But the normal copy paper weighs 70-90g/m2 it can be used in simple folds..

 

 I learned this origami just a month ago and i really loved making it.. Most of the ribbon/bows and butterflies i made are used by putting it in a card which we send to all the Teachers of my kids.. It can also put it in our Christmas tree.. You can also create decors,birds, animals, flower etc.. Just watch DIY Origami in YouTube..
